Bible Studies

As New Born Babes: Bible Study For New Believers – Paperback (July 7, 2023)

This fourth edition is based on the Authorised (King James) Version of the Holy Bible.

Targeted at new believers this book aims to help new believers to understand important doctrines of the Christian faith and to grow in grace by grounding the reader in biblical truth. This book is written in plain-speaking language and in an easy-to-understand way. Many new Christians around the world today do not have access to Bible studies that ground them in fundamental truths.

The Bible was given to the Church by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21) for our blessing and edification. Therefore, we must put practical studies in the hands of new believers at a reasonable price. 2 Timothy 3:16 reminds us that reading and studying the Bible for ourselves is very important to our growth and relationship with Christ. These studies were written from a literal view of Scripture. This book contains short studies to help budding babes in Christ understand the teachings of the Bible

These studies are also available for free by visiting the downloads page.

Truth or Tradition: Christmas on Trial – Paperback (Dec 20, 2018)

In this short book, I aim to present a Biblical view of the festival we have come to enjoy and know as Christmas. I will use the facts of history and Bible passages to make my case regarding Christmas. I am not trying to convince you for or against Christmas. My aim is merely to expose the truth about the celebration that so many indulge in. In the Western world, we have come to recognise Christmas as a Christian festival, that marks the birth of the Christ child. As a child growing up in the United Kingdom, I  always looked forward to the Christmas season and heartily joined in with what I thought was a Christian holiday. For many years I enjoyed the celebration that many claim commemorates the most important birth in all of human history.

William Tyndale: The Forgotten Man – Paperback (Nov 20,2018)

NOTE: This is an updated edition. Proofread and updated in 2024.

This is a short biography of the English scholar and leading Protestant reformer, William Tyndale. He is most noted for his 1526 English translation of the New Testament. This book tells the story of William Tyndale’s life and passion to make it possible for common English-speaking people to read God’s Word in a language they could understand and in a way that will take root in their hearts.  For far too long the Word of God was locked in a language that only a select few could read, Latin. Tyndale who could both read and understand Latin knew that the teachings of the English clergy were not in keeping with God’s Word. Tyndale made it his life’s work to give English-speaking people the chance to read God’s Word for themselves. This colossal and courageous work cost Tyndale his life.

On October 6, 1536, the frail and weak scholar was led from a dungeon in the castle at Vilvoorde, Belgium to the place where he was going to be burnt alive for translating the Bible into English. Such a punishment seems insane to us today, but this was the reality for so many throughout Europe some 500 years ago. Tyndale wrote many works alongside his New Testament, such as “The Obedience of the Christian Man.” William Shakespeare is the only other English writer who has been more influential than Tyndale. William Tyndale’s last known words were a prayer to God. As the flames of the fire devoured him and burnt his body Tyndale prayed, “Lord, open the eyes of the King of England.”

The Claims of Catholicism: A Power and Corrupt Institute – Paperback (Dec 26, 2018)

This book is a brief introduction and overview of some of the many teachings of the Roman Catholic Church that are not found in the Holy Bible. For hundreds of years, the Papacy has lied and led many down the road of falsehood and in the process led many to reject the teachings of Christ. The history of Catholicism is testimony to their wickedness and rejection of the true God of Holy Scripture. This book aims to inform the reader of the methods and actions of Catholicism that have caused so much damage to the world. Their abuse of power and influence has made them one of the most corrupt and truly evil organisations known to man.
