I have chosen to delete my main social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram and Threads, in order to spend a meaningful season away from social platforms. I acknowledge that social media carries many positive benefits, connection, communication and the ability to share helpful content at scale. However, it can also be an extremely toxic environment, often distracting us from the truly important priorities of life.

As a Christian, I have found that these platforms are not always safe or welcoming spaces for believers. Recently, my Facebook account was placed under significant restrictions without explanation. I was prevented from adding new friends, commenting on posts and using Facebook Messenger. When I appealed the decision, Facebook confirmed that nothing on my account had violated their terms and conditions, yet the restrictions remained in place regardless. The absence of clarity or justification in this process contributed to my decision.

Since stepping away, I have felt a genuine sense of freedom and liberation. It is worth remembering that faithful Christians of past generations never relied on social media, yet through writing, preaching and steadfast ministry, they reached millions with the Gospel. Facebook itself was not created until 2004, while Gospel work flourished long before and will continue long after. The mission of sharing Christ remains unchanged.

By God’s grace, I will continue to write, preach and proclaim the powerful truth of the Holy Bible for as long as the Lord grants me physical ability. The work of the Gospel continues and will never cease.

You can still stay connected with my ministry and the work of The Anchor Gospel Ministry by joining the free mailing list. This ensures you receive updates, teaching and resources directly, without relying on social platforms.

Thank you for your understanding and continued prayerful support.
