I have known Your mercy in the morning,
I have felt Your kindness in the night;
When shadows pressed against my weakness,
You carried me toward the light.
Your faithfulness has walked beside me,
Every valley marked by grace;
The past redeemed by gentle pardon,
The future guarded in Your embrace.
I have tasted love that heals the broken,
A river flowing from Your throne;
It sings a promise to the weary—
You are never left alone.
Through fire, You remain my shelter,
Through storm, You steady every breath;
Your goodness writes a better story,
Stronger even than my death.
So I will lift my voice in worship,
Till earth and heaven both resound:
Your goodness runs to meet the sinner,
Your mercy chases me down.
I will sing of love that never fails me,
I will testify of what You’ve done;
For all my life, You have been gracious—
Your goodness is my song.
And when my final day is spoken,
When faith gives way to sight above,
I’ll stand complete in resurrection,
Still praising Your unfailing love.
