I come to thee, Lord
On this day, which thou hath made
With doubt, mock and sin in mind
A corrupt heart, worthless life
Pain, guilt surrounds my soul
Asking to be ransomed, healed some how
Open my darken eyes
To see your marvelous light, so I may see like Saint Paul
Blinded by my world, my lies
My anger overwhelms me,
All I need is in you, O’ Lord
Whether I know it or not
Trials, temptations consume me
O’ Lord abide in my soul,
Inspire me O’ Lord
With thy Holy Spirit,
So I may trust in thee
For Salvation, love, joy and peace,
Completely depending on thee
Help me to be more like thy Son
Calm me now, O’ Spirit of God
Wash my sinful soul,
Cleanse me with the
Divine blood of Christ, shed on Calvary
To die to self, is to live for Christ
This my heart’s desire now,
O’ Lord in thy name, let this be so
Thank you, dear Spirit of God, dwelling in me
O’ where now is the tears
Pain and darkness has fled away
All sorrow and scars are healed
O’ great light of life
Lord, to me you gave,
God, I am surely blessed,
O’ so richly blessed now
All by love, grace and mercy in Christ
