Every year on this day (26 December),the Church remembers Stephen, the first Christian martyr. A man “full of grace and power” (Acts 6:8), Stephen boldly proclaimed Christ even unto death, becoming a witness sealed in blood.
As stones fell, his prayer rose: “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” His courage and forgiveness echo the heart of Jesus Himself. May Stephen inspire us to stand firm for the truth, live with compassion, and forgive freely.
