“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.” John 1:12

In this video, I reflect on the powerful truth found in John 1:12. This verse reminds us that becoming a child of God is not earned through works, heritage, or effort, but is a gift given to those who receive Jesus Christ by faith.

🔹 What does it mean to receive Christ?
🔹 What does Scripture say about becoming a child of God?
🔹 How does belief in Jesus change everything?

God created us to know Him, but sin has separated us from Him (Romans 3:23). Because of His great love, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again from the dead. Salvation is not by our works, but by God’s grace.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

When you repent and place your faith in Jesus Christ, trusting in Him alone for salvation, God forgives your sins and gives you new life. Through faith, you are welcomed into God’s family as His child.

Today is the day to embrace Christ.
