Earnest Prayer and Wise Speech
Masters, give to the servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
At the same time praying also for us, that God may open to us a door of the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains.
That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
Walk in wisdom toward those outside, redeeming the time.
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Personal Greetings
All my things will Tychicus make known to you, beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow-servant in the Lord;
Whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that he may know your circumstances and encourage your hearts;
With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you, they will make known to you all things which are here.
Aristarchus my fellow-prisoner greets you, and Mark (the cousin of Barnabas), concerning whom you received instructions, if he comes to you, welcome him.
And Jesus who is called Justus, these are of the circumcision. These are the only fellow-workers for the kingdom of God, who have been a comfort to me.
Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greetings, always striving on your behalf in prayers that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
For I bear record of him that he has a great struggle on your behalf and for those in Laodicea and for those in Hierapolis.
Luke the beloved physician greets you, and Demas.
Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
And when this letter is read among you, cause that it be read also in the assembly of the Laodiceans; and that you also read the letter from Laodicea.
And say to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.”
This salutation is by my own hand, remember my bonds. The grace be with you. Amen.
