When Hannah prayed these words, she was reminding Israel of a truth we often forget: God sees beyond appearances. We can hide our motives from people, but not from El Deah. His knowledge is perfect, complete, and unsearchable. He knows every detail of our past, every thought in our minds, and every possibility in our future. 1 Samuel 2:3 says, “Boast no more so very proudly, Do not let arrogance come out of your mouth; For the Lord is a God of knowledge, And with Him actions are weighed.”

This truth can feel sobering because nothing is hidden from Him but it should also bring comfort. El Deah knows what weighs on your heart before you speak it. He understands the questions you can’t even put into words. He is never caught off guard by our failures, and He is never surprised by our needs.

When you feel misunderstood, remember that El Deah knows you fully. When you’re unsure of what step to take next, seek His wisdom, because He sees what you cannot. Today, instead of leaning on your own limited understanding, pause and invite El Deah into your decisions. Pray, “Lord, You are the God of Knowledge. Guide me in Your wisdom and search my heart so I may walk in truth.”
