How great is our God
To choose sinful men to change
A lost world gone estrange
To tell forth His truth
And proclaim the glorious Gospel

Long ago God raised up men
The Almighty gave a task, so noble and grand
To pen His Word and be His hand
To set His Scriptures in ink and paper
Our final authority is Scripture alone

And that blessed truth
We read, ponder and learn
To fully trust and lean
On the great gospel of grace
That men are saved by faith alone

For why did God save sinners?
Why did Christ suffer and die?
He came by mercy and love
And bled for those who loved Him not
The Saviour redeemed sinners by grace alone

Salvation for sinners
Is free in Christ Jesus the King
For He purchased forgiveness
On a cruel cross to make us just
This can only be found in Christ alone

Let us then praise God
With all that we have and are
For this great gift of His
We bend the knee and say
To the glory of God alone
