O’ Lord the day that thou hath made is just beginning
A new day to worship thee,
A new day to grow deeper in thy spirit
And in thy wisdom, O’ Lord
O’ Lord, as I reflect on the day just spent
I see thee more clearly, know thee more dearly,
Till one day I see thee face to face
Not all is clear to my mortal mind
Morn is nigh, help me to learn about thee
Today, and every day, learn more and draw near
To be more like Christ, is my desire today
To be more holy, more loving, more merciful, is my prayer today
In thy name, Amen.
