God is the way to all gladness
With Him I am happy, never sadness
He is the first and the last
With Him all woe is past
God is in my heart and soul
Not in part, but the whole
He is mine, and I am His
My very core in Him doth shine
God makes my path clear
Even if my way be drear
This I know
I will not be in Hell below
God’s glorious, happy face
Shines on me today, O grace
This is salvation’s wonderful story
This is victory, this is victory
God has given me a hope that is sure
My enteral hope of Heaven is secure
Even when my faith is small
He keeps His promise that is all
God is the best to trust
Over all the rest, He is just
Heed now to His call
And see His splendid all
