For one of thorns
He exchanged the throne of heaven
For a cross at Calvary

Why Christ exchanged all this
For our salvation, for our pardon
Come now with faith and fear
Repent ye people, respond to God
O’ enter His court with joy
Join in the triumphant day
The day that Christ defeated death
Overcame sin, victory over hell’s curse
