O’ Lord grant thy servant mercy,
Mercy for I have sinned
In thought, word and deed,
I feel distant from thee
For I have offended against thy most Holy law
I’m guilty before thee of so many sins,
Fill me anew Lord, help me to repent
Repent for I seek to please thee
With faith I ask to be washed,
Washed in the blood of Christ
Refill my soul, O Lord of love
I ask for that which I do not deserve
But need to continue on thy path,
Paid in full on the cross
Set free from sin, I am,
For my sake, Christ did it all,
He paid it all for me
