I looked unto Jesus, and I saw in Him a friend indeed
He said, “Come rest, lay down thy head”,
I looked unto Jesus, I saw in him a tender heart for sinners,
A heart that loves me indeed, a friend that will never leave

Look now unto Jesus,
And took Him at His Word
See your need for grace, truth and light

Turn your eyes upon Jesus, the only Son of God
Look unto Him, the only one that died to set you free
Look unto Jesus, the only one that rose up from the grave
The only one that rose to give life to all,
