A love that never falters

A love that never dies

An abiding love that endured a cross

He patiently awaited the coming day

As a submission of “not my will, but thine”

In all humbleness he hung on the cross

O’ Christ suffered shame, nails, and pains

O’ Lord your cross for my life, salvation’s plan

So my weary soul in time may repent

On the third day, he defeated death by his,

Jesus overcame hell, over powered the evil one

All for the love he bears for me

That faithful day that I said, “yes”

A pardon from God, a place to call home

The Father gained, a soul won
