For today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Jesus Christ came to earth as Lord and Saviour. He is the Messiah. Many people say that Christ is Lord of their life but is He really on the throne of your heart? Is there any evidence in your life that Christ is your Lord and Master? There are many people where it can be said of them that Christ is part of their life, but not Lord of their life. They will read the Bible, go to church, and appear to be a Christian. However, as far as the fruit of the spirit and walking in obedience are concerned, Christ is not part of their life.
On the Day of Judgement, many will boast of their good deeds, and Christ will say to them, “Depart, I never knew you.” Yes, you may do many wonderful deeds in Christ’s name and for His kingdom, but the one thing everyone must do to enter Heaven is repent, turn to God, forsake a life controlled by sin, and believe the Gospel. If you are a professing Christian and have no repentance, no change of heart and no fruit ask yourself this question, what makes you think you are a Christian?

- Are you a carnal Christian?
- What is the evidence you are a Christian?
- Is Christ truly the Lord of your life?
- Do you love the Lord Jesus Christ?
- Are you seeking to live to the glory of God?
